Momo Takahashi is a first-generation Japanese American photographer born and raised in Queens, New York. Her work as a photographer is intertwined with social justice in using the camera as a means to highlight and uplift the stories of her community, including the Asian American Pacific Islander community and the working-class people of New York City.
Takahashi's work has been exhibited at the BarTur Photo Award in Berlin and Warsaw, Asian Archives x Lomography, and Photoville. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Photography and Imaging.
